March 2011
Thanks man. Yeah, saw your post. HILARIOUS lol
God revealed something to me the other day: I’ve been going into battle without a weapon.
I praise God that He’s revealed to me how I can really engage the battle, specifically on lust, and after I’ve surrendered it to Him everything has actually been great and downhill.
But sinful thoughts just kept barraging me and they slipped in so many times. I didn’t know what was wrong ‘till God revealed this to me.
So I memorized 1 Thessalonians 4:3: “It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality.”
God’s Word is not like a gun. It doesn’t run out of ammo. Its firepower is still the same. It doesn’t jam. It gets the job done.
So even if I used this verse over and over again (in the process of memorizing some more), it was effective. When a thought slipped in, I just quoted the verse. And now that the verse is well in my heart and head, the thoughts aren’t bothering me anymore.
God’s Word truly is amazing!
But I’m not! :)

Prayer is communication with God, meaning it’s two way. He speaks, it’s not just you that speaks everytime.

struck down, but not destroyed.” —II Corinthians 4:9 (via ilovebeinginlovewithhim)
One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation.
Satan had just departed from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting.
“Yes, sir, I just caught a World full of people down there. I set me a trap and used a little bait. I knew they couldn’t resist. Got ‘em all!”
“What are you going to do with them?” Jesus asked.
Satan replied, “Oh, I’m gonna have fun! I’m gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I’m gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I’m really gonna have fun!”
“And what will you do when you get done with them?” Jesus asked.
“Oh, I’ll kill ‘em,” Satan glared proudly.
“How much do you want for them?” Jesus asked
“Oh, you don’t want those people. They ain’t no good. See, you’ll take them and they’ll just hate you. They’ll spit on you, curse you then kill you. You don’t want those people!!”
“How much?” He asked again.
Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, “All your blood, tears, and your life.”
Jesus said without hesitation, “DONE!”
Then He paid the price.
- Isn’t it funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the World’s going to Hell?
- Isn’t it funny how someone can say “I believe in God” out and still follow Satan?
- Isn’t it funny how you can re-post a thousand jokes through blogs and they spread like wildfire, but when you start posting messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing?
- Isn’t it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me.
- I pray, for everyone who re-posts this, they will be blessed by God in a way special for them
- If You Love God… And, are not ashamed of all the marvelous things HE has done for you…
I’m pumped to lead worship!

Zachary Levi
DOING CHRISTIANITY RIGHT.
(via socatherine)
You know, it’s guys like Zachary Levi that show that there’s still light in the movie industry and that not all hope is lost. I really admire him for standing up for his faith. Keep running the race, Zac. We’re praying for ya!
Is Hollywood a difficult atmosphere to be in as a Christian?
Absolutely. The atmosphere in Hollywood in general is very anti-conservative, very anti-Christian. The liberal segment of Hollywood, which is 80 percent of it if not more, they look at Christians as hypocrites that are false and fake….
Amy Adams has been cast as Lois Lane in the 2012 Superman: Man of Steel.
Okay, I’m gonna be honest about this, I am getting scared about this project. It’s cool that Diane Lane and Kevin Costner are playing the elderly Kents (no word yet on who’s going to take the place of Marlon Brando as Jor-El, or even if Jor-El is in the film), but I was pretty skeptical to hear that Henry Cavill had been cast as Superman. He’s a pretty much unknown actor and he’s the first British actor to fill in the Man of Steel’s shoes, which is a pretty big step for the producers.
Then again, however, both Christopher Reeve and Brandon Routh we’re pretty much unknown when cast as Superman and the producers wouldn’t just cast whoever they want in this project. After all, this is the reboot of Superman they’re taking on and they’re presenting it to a whole new generation. They’ve got a lot of work on their hands. Amy Adams as Lois Lane is, I guess, kinda okay. I don’t know how she’ll be that pushy journalist that’s the complete opposite of the mild-mannered Clark Kent with her small voice, but hey, that’s just me. She is a great actress after all and I do hope she pulls it off.
Personally, I would really have loved to see the cast of Superman Returns… well, return for this. After all, Kevin Spacey’s Lex Luthor was just perfection. But hey, with Zack Snyder on the helm, this might just work.
So most of you know that I run another RP based blog as Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherebert called Flynn’s Journal.
Anyways, Ashley, who runs Hell Yes Tangled!, has joined me in the RP as no other than Rapunzel herself.
